Deepixels Holdings, in partnership with Durban FilmMart Institute (DFMI), invites completed films for consideration for the DFM × WiC Cinema, screening during Durban FilmMart 2026.

The DFM × WiC Cinema forms part of the official public launch of Watch in Community (WiC) — a new audience engagement and exhibition platform developed by Deepixels Holdings to connect content, audiences and community-based cinema experiences. During Durban FilmMart, delegates will discover films through the WiC platform, acquire complimentary screening tickets using WiC Bucs, and attend scheduled screenings in the dedicated 90-seat DFM × WiC Cinema.

Please complete all applicable sections of this form. Submission does not guarantee selection. Films selected for the programme will be required to complete the applicable licensing, classification and technical delivery requirements before their screening can be confirmed.

The DFM × WiC Cinema requires the submitting party to control, or be authorised to grant, the rights necessary for participation.

These questions are for programme assessment purposes. Films selected for participation will be required to enter into a separate WiC DFM Limited Screening Licence before the screening is confirmed.

08WiC platform and screening licence

For purposes of the DFM × WiC Cinema activation, selected films will be required to grant Deepixels Holdings a limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence for the agreed Durban FilmMart 2026 activation period. The licence will be limited to the rights reasonably necessary to:

make the film and its approved programme information available within the WiC platform for discovery and screening-ticket acquisition during the activation; and
physically exhibit the film within the DFM × WiC Cinema as part of the scheduled Durban FilmMart 2026 programme.

The licence will also provide for the limited use of approved promotional materials, including the film title, synopsis, poster/key artwork, trailer, stills and filmmaker credits, to promote the film's participation in the DFM × WiC Cinema programme.

Participation does not grant Deepixels or WiC general VOD, OTT or continuing commercial exploitation rights in the film.
